 Rights Respecting Schools Award

SSPP is a twice-accredited Rights Respecting Gold Award School.

 
This award is a Unicef UK programme that aims to put children’s rights at the heart of schools in the UK.  It aims to help embed children’s rights in their ethos and culture to improve well-being and develop every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential.

Latest News

  • Please note that this starts at 2.30pm next Friday (the same time as the Year 4 performance the day before) and not 2.45pm as noted in the newsletter.
  • Due to a last minute issue we have been informed of, the book sale and signing with Onjali Q Rauf has had to move to next Friday (20th June).
  • Each year, before we begin our RSE programme across the school, Year 6 parents are invited in to see the resource we will be making use of, and the content of the Year 6 lessons.
  • Don't forget, straight after school today (12.6.25), the brilliant author Onjali Q Rauf will be in school signing copies of her books. The texts can be purchased in the hall from the Loughton Bookshop prior to having them signed.
  • We are so fortunate to announce that the fantastic author Onjali Q Rauf will be visiting SSPP on Thursday 12th June. She will spend the afternoon presenting assemblies and Q&A sessions to all of our children before taking part in a book sale and signing.
