Who Are We?

We are the Parents Association of SSPP.  We rebranded our name in 2019 to Friends of SSPP. Our main role is to raise money to provide additional resources and equipment which will benefit your child whilst studying at SSPP. We ensure that all the funding we raise, will make your child’s time at school fun and enjoyable. We believe that our children at SSPP should have the best experiences and that this can only be achieved with a good PA.

Our Role

Here at SSPP we have a strong and active Parents’ Association. We organises a wide variety of social events for school families, such as:

+ Children’s Discos

+ Colouring Competitions

+ Easter Bonnet/Hat Competitions

+ Fireworks Display

+ Christmas Bazaar (including our own amazing Santa's Grotto)

+ Summer Fete

What do we spend our money on?

As well as our events being great fun and sociable, all the money raised helps to fund future activities. The Friends of SSPP also helps to purchase equipment for the school.  Examples of this include the playground equipment, our own amazing child friendly gym and much more. This equipment is available for all the children to use and they draw so many benefits from its purchase.

How can you become involved?

Friends of SSPP welcome more families to support our small team. Our current team takes great pride in all the events we organise. We are a voluntary team and we rely on families for their valuable time and support to help to organise and run our events. We openly welcome fresh ideas to expand our events. 

Friends of SSPP would like you to become involved; below are just a few examples of how you can support our fundraising events:

+ Attend our monthly PA meetings (due to Covid 19 currently these meetings are being communicated via our Whatsapp group). We are hoping to organise virtual meetings in the upcoming weeks.

+ Be part of the SSPP community by attending organised fundraising events that take place throughout the year. These events are a fun and informal way of meeting other parents.

+ Volunteer to help with the fundraising events, run a stall, selling tickets, judging competitions or provide items to sell or raffle.

Your time and support is valuable to us and we do not expect parents in our team to be committed to all the events. We adopt a flexible approach. We work around you and your time.

Although we receive a lot of support from our families at SSPP, we have a few local sponsors who generously donate items to help us run our events. Currently our sponsors are:
