After an assessment visit on the 3rd July, we are pleased to announce that SSPP has been accredited with the Rights Respecting Gold Award from Unicef.
As one of only a handful of schools in the Borough to have reached this level, this is a real moment of pride for all the pupils and staff who make up our school.
From Unicef: The Award recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child at the heart of a school’s planning, policies and practice. A Rights Respecting School is a community where children’s rights are learned, taught, practised, respected, protected and promoted . There are only just over 400 schools across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales that have received Gold.
