Boys from Y5 and Y6 were awarded the medals following their success on Friday, 1st July at a football tournament held at Goodmayes Primary School.
Our Y5 team were the outright winners in their league and the Y6 boys won a place into the final against Goodmayes as they had finished on the same number of points and with the same goal difference.
The boys went on to win the final 4-0 in order to be crowned the Y6 champions.
Our boys were commended on their resilience and sportsmanship with Bryan in 5G being awarded ‘Player of the Tournament’ for Y5, Edwin in 6A won ‘Runner up player of the Tournament’ for Y6 and Sarima in 6R was presented with the ‘Player of the Tournament’ for Y6 for his outstanding saves and the encouragement he gave to his team-mates throughout the afternoon.
Thank you to Goodmayes Primary School for hosting the tournament and well done to all the boys who participated and represented the school fantastically.
