SSPP pupils vote to remain in the European Union.

During our whole school assembly on Monday 20th June, Year 6 pupils debated the arguments for leaving or remaining in the European Union.

Throughout the debate, the panel took questions from the audience on subjects such as: immigration, job security, how leaving the Union may affect the unity of the United Kingdom and what has the EU done for us. Each team were given the opportunity to respond to the questions and put forward their case. Following the debate, a vote was taken and the remain camp won by a resounding majority.
